Technical Sales Engineer
Central Queensland 

Morgan Industrial Carbon is a manufacturer and an importer of electrical and mechanical carbon products. Additionally, it operates a modern repair facility for rotating machine components and distributes a comprehensive range of maintenance products suited for use within a wide industrial user base. 

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for sales targets and profitability, seeking opportunities for developing and identifying new business, along with managing current customer accounts within the region.

This position will cover and focus in particular on the Central Queensland coal mining sector (Bowen Basin) and also central Queensland Sugar mills.

The successful applicant must be experienced in, and have a sound knowledge of AC and DC rotating machines; previous experience and an understanding of dragline motor and generator applications will be highly regarded, along with a proven track record in technical sales management. The successful applicant must be a self starter and be able to work autonomously and posses the ability to think outside the square, along with a can do attitude. We would encourage people with extensive experience within the dragline / shovel maintenance areas, ready to change their career path into sales to apply for this position. A high level of travel within the region is essential, with this in mind the successful applicant would be home based.
